Preparing for your visit

Everything you need to know to make your appointment as comfortable and efficient as possible.

Before Your Appointment

  • Schedule your mammogram one week after your period starts, if possible
  • Avoid deodorant, powder, or lotion on your chest and underarms on the day of your exam
  • Wear comfortable, two-piece clothing
  • Bring any previous mammograms or imaging results

What to Expect

  • Check-in at our front desk with your ID and insurance card
  • A breast health specialist will explain the procedure and answer questions
  • The mammogram typically takes about 20-30 minutes
  • A board-certified radiologist will review your images and send results to your doctor

  • We accept all major insurance plans
  • Medicare and Medicaid accepted
  • Self-pay options available for uninsured patients
  • Insurance verification performed before your appointment

  • Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (by appointment)
  • Sunday: Closed
  • Same-day appointments available for urgent concerns
